A sister store for the team behind the fantastic Forge and Foliage in Marchmont, work has been well underway to transform the new space in recent weeks.
Owners recently announced: "Our second location @hordeumbotanicalstudio will include a dried flower studio, a houseplant and homewares retail store and … a coffee shop!
"We’ll also be launching lots of workshops in both Marchmont and Murrayfield in the coming months - terrarium making, dried flower arrangements and jesmonite casting are just a few we’ve got planned already.
"We’re in no doubt that you, our customers, got us here and for that we are just want to say thanks SO MUCH for all the love."
Meanwhile, the coffee element of the shop, Disposition Coffee, is described as a "new speciality coffee shop with a dose of mindfulness."
Owners add: "To us, coffee is much more than simply a drink. It’s a morning ritual, a catch up with friends, a comfort in the midst of a long day.
"Our space is one in which to relax, be present with yourself and others and fully appreciate the moment."
