A property on in a plush neighbourhood in Edinburgh was broken into in broad daylight.
At around 5.40pm on April 18, a home was targeted by thieves and a theft was reported on Newhaven Road.
Police reported that a thieves broke into the home before stealing and fleeing the scene on Tuesday evening. Officers have said enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a break-in to and theft from a property on Newhaven Road, Edinburgh, around 5.40pm on Tuesday, 18 April, 2023.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
