Edinburgh firefighters have responded to a scrapyard in the north east of the capital following a blaze on Monday afternoon.
Two appliances rushed to Dalton's scrapyard on Salamander Street after one concerned resident spotted a fire inside the compound, sparking a response from the emergency services.
Orange flames could be seen from nearby flats shortly before 2pm on February 6, as clouds of black smoke began to spread.

A spokesperson from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that two appliances were mobilised to the scene following reports of a quantity of rubbish alight, which has since been extinguished.
They added: "We received a call at 13:58 to a report of a quantity of rubbish alight on Salamander Street in Leith. Operations control mobilised two pumps to the scene and the fire has been extinguished."
The fire service attended a similar incident in August following several reports of a minor explosion in the same area. Residents say a loud 'boom' shook their flat near the scrapyard and the SFRS confirmed they attended a small machinery fire.
