A popular Edinburgh coffee shop and bakery has just opened its latest premises.
Fortitude made the announcement on Instagram today (February 25) and invited locals to come in and try their home-made goodies.
The new premises on Newington Road is their third shop, and all are located within Edinburgh.

Posting online this morning, a spokesperson for Fortitude made the announcement.
They said: “Our new coffee shop and bakery on Newington Road is now open for sit in or takeaway. We are serving coffee and a selection of delicious cakes and buns all baked in house.
“We hope you will join us for a coffee this weekend.”
The Newington Road coffee shop will be Fortitude’s third in the city.
The Edinburgh based coffee shop already has premises at York Place in the city centre and at Hamilton Place in Stockbridge.
Fortitude are not just famous for their specialist coffees and have become equally renowned for their home-made snacks.
They tell customers on their website that their coffee shops is the perfect spot to sit and watch the world go about its business.
A spokesperson says: “Pair your drink with some delicious baked French toast, our famous avocado toast, or some sourdough grilled cheese.
They continue: “We offer two espresso options and a variety of filter; hand-brewed on Kalita Wave or batch-brewed. Choose from a selection of cakes and pastries from local bakeries to accompany your coffee and watch the trams go by.”
