Edinburgh's drinks fans could be in for a treat next month, with the arrival of an exciting new food and drink festival.
The team behind Juniper Festival have created Summerfest, an expanded food, drink and summer festival at Summerhall, taking place on Saturday, May 27.
The event will feature a carefully curated selection of local gins, international spirits and quirky tasting experiences.
The Main Hall of Summerhall will be filled with Scotland's best gin exhibitors – including Summerhall resident Pickering’s Gin – while in the Dissection Room guests can enjoy a selection of drinks with quirky, delectable food pairings such as rum and doughnuts, and tequila and chocolate.

There will also be drinks-based workshops where guests can learn how to create concoctions with the spirits they’ve enjoyed throughout the day.
And of course, the ever-popular courtyard will be filled with food trucks and live entertainment including DJs and live music from more of Summerhall’s residents.
Tickets are priced at £25 pp and are available from the Summerhall website.
