Edinburgh gets a new charming cafe that features seasonal salads, flavoursome soups and indulgent cakes in their delicious yet accessible menu.
Located in the heart of the city's gorgeous Old Town, the Dovecot Studios Cafe is situated in one of the capital's most unique art exhibition centres - the Dovecot Studios.
The new cafe is the latest addition to the vast building with a unique glass ceiling open plan studio, previously home to the city's Infirmary Street Baths.

Situated slightly off the ever-busy Royal Mile, the new dining venue will make a brilliant peaceful spot for a fulfilling breakfast, lunch or a quick coffee break when enjoying a city centre outing.
On the company's website, it says: "Dovecot Studios Cafe is brought to you by well-established Edinburgh caterers Hickory. The café offers up a healthy, accessible, and delicious menu.
"From delicious baguettes, a selection of salads and warming soups, to indulgent cakes and biscuits, Dovecot Studios Cafe is the perfect spot for lunch, snacks, and some of the best coffee around. With changing daily specials, everything is made by the expert team using locally sourced quality ingredients."
Dovecot, a world-renowned tapestry studio and a contemporary art, craft and design centre, has a rich history dating back to 1912. However, it has only been in its current building at 10 Infirmary Street since 2008.
Now, the venue offers its visitors a wide variety of activities - from exploring fascinating art exhibitions to watching their famous in-house weavers work their tapestry magic at the studio to restoring their energy at the new beautiful cafe - making it a must-stop when out and about in the city centre.
The Dovecot Studios Cafe is open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
