Edinburgh is set for a cold few days next week with weather forecasters predicting harsh conditions.
The Capital is predicted to have light snow and hail showers spread across three days.
According to the BBC Weather, light snow is set to fall on the city on Thursday (February 17) at around 7pm and continue until 8am the following day (February 18).

On the same day, sunny intervals are expected between 8am and 5pm however after 7pm, sleet is expected to chill the city at night.
This should only last a few hours ending at around midnight.
Throughout the morning of Saturday 19th, forecasters have said that the hail will begin yet again at around 12pm and carry on for only an hour until 1pm.
The rest of the week is set to have a mixture of rain showers and sunny intervals.

A cloudy day with rain soon spreading to all parts. Some heavier rain over Southern Uplands around middle of the day, turning light, patchy in afternoon, dying out later. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Chance of a few light showers on Monday, dry and bright afternoon. Early rain soon clearing Tuesday then bright with a few showers. Unsettled and windy on Wednesday.
