As the cost of living crisis continues to put pressure on households across Edinburgh, many people will be cutting back on spending across the board.
One hidden cost that many forget is the price of petrol and diesel for travelling to work, school and other essential journeys.
In order to help locals, Edinburgh Live has sized up the latest petrol costs provided by the Petrol Prices website, and found the cheapest place to source petrol and diesel in the capital.

The cheapest petrol stations in Edinburgh in June
Coming out once again on top is Costco Edinburgh, in Loanhead. Located on the outskirts of the city, it offers fuel at 136.9 pence per litre and pence per litre for unleaded petrol and diesel, respectively.
However, there are still options for affordable fuel for those without a paid Costco membership.
For petrol cars, Morrisons Portobello Road offer the cheapest fuel at 142.7 pence per litre, while Asda Straiton Automat, Morrisons Moredun and Sainsbury's Straiton also provide cheap fuel.

For diesel cars, the cheapest fuel prices outside of Costco Loanhead are found at the Morrisons Moredun, Gyle and Ferry Road, as well as the Sainsbury's at Straiton.
