An Edinburgh takeaway is celebrating success this morning after being crowned the best in Edinburgh.
Around 150 representatives of the best takeaways in Scotland gathered at Glasgow's Marriott Hotel on Monday for the annual Scottish Takeaway Awards.
The awards 'provide a great opportunity to showcase those who performed well over the past year and are considered the best choice by the public.'

A number of the awards were split into local regions 'to ensure the diverse range of businesses from across Scotland are recognised for providing unique dishes, creating a true gastronomic paradise.'
And taking home the coveted prize for Edinburgh's top takeaway is a popular Old Town food spot, described by locals as 'a great spot for late night pizza'.
Based on St Mary's Street, Moratti, a short walk from the Royal Mile, scores a series of rave reviews on Google and TripAdvisor, with many hailing their 'super delicious pizzas', with one person calling their handmade pizzas 'one of the best they've ever eaten'.
The event organisers said following the announcement of the winners: "Takeaways have been around for so long and are an integral part of our high streets and culture. There is no doubt that it is a fast-growing sector and will continue to shake up Scotland’s economy as more and more food entrepreneurs chose to provide food on the go and delivery services.
"The awards also celebrated top establishments that strive to be different. They commended those who deliver great food to their customers in a timely manner, making it easier to enjoy their delicious meal from the comfort of their homes."
A Spokesperson for the Scottish Takeaway Awards said: “Although in our second year, we are honoured by the fantastic response we have had from the public who was so keen to vote for their favourite takeaways.
“This industry has grown massively over the past years and we aimed to seek out, reward and thank those who have managed to make a real difference by serving fantastic food, using the best of ingredients.
“The winners are an outstanding example of excellence whose dedication to be the best has made them stand out among the rest.
“We would like to congratulate all finalists and winners for their amazing achievements.”
