A new report from the Bank of Scotland has revealed the top ten most expensive streets in Scotland are all in Edinburgh, with Ann Street in Stockbridge topping the table.
The capital is known for having some of the highest property prices in the UK, with research confirming that a property on various streets would set buyers back an average of £1.5million.
The Record reports how the plush Ann Street in one of the capital's most sought-after areas is the most expensive in the country, with properties fetching an average of £1,685,000 between January 2017 and September 2022.

The street, made so by its stunning aesthetics and Georgian architecture, is just a short walk from the picture-esque Dean Village and is also rumoured to be the Queen Mother's favourite street in Edinburgh.
Following closely in second place is Wester Coates Avenue in the far west of the city with an average price of £1,615,000. The third most expensive may come as a surprise to some, but with jaw-dropping views of Arthur's Seat guaranteed, a home on Regent Terrace would set you back just over £1.5million.
Rounding out the top five is a return to Stockbridge with Danube Street and Heriot Row in the city centre, where properties cost an average of £1,449,000 and £1,331,000 respectively.
Wester Coates Gardens, St. Catherine's Place, Spylaw Bank Road, Hope Terrace, and St Bernard's Crescent fill out the remainder of the top ten. Overall, homes on these Edinburgh streets have an asking price of an average £1.4 million.
Other destinations to appear on the list include St Andrews, North Berwick, and Musselburgh.
According to the Bank of Scotland, only streets where there have been at least five transactions over the period were included in the research. The transactions data was sourced from the Registry of Scotland.
Commenting on the research, mortgages director at Bank of Scotland Graham Blair said: "Ann Street in the beautiful city of Edinburgh tops the most expensive list, setting wealthy buyers back almost £1.7 million on average. While not in the top 10 priciest, homes in St Andrews also don't come cheap, with The Scores and Donaldson Crescent offering properties at over £1.1million on average."
