Edinburgh RNLI were called out once again this week to save a person stranded on Cramond Island on Thursday afternoon.
The South Queensferry crew raced to the popular summer attraction at 3:09pm on Tuesday, May 19, when a woman sounded the alarm that she was trapped on the island.
Having already been deployed twice in the last two days to assist two vessels in distress in the Firth of Forth, the Queensferry RNLI once again proved to be rapid responders and offered their heroic services.

Regularly posting their hard days work on Facebook, the crew once again alerted people to the possible danger of visiting certain areas and reminded them to call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
They said: "Our volunteer crew were paged by UK Coastguard at 3.09pm to one person stranded on Cramond Island.
"The crew and lifeboat made best speed to the Island where they got the female on board and transferred her to Cramond Village and into the care of waiting UK Coastguard personnel.
"The lady, on realising she had become stranded and unsure what to do, called the police for help.
She was then put in contact with UK Coastguard.
"We would like to remind people that on the coast or at sea, if you get into difficulty, to dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
"Despite the beautiful blue sky and sunshine there was a strong breeze and choppy conditions on the water.
"The charity lifeboat was back on station, washed, refuelled and made ready for service by 5.00pm."
