A diner has taken to TripAdvisor to complain about an Edinburgh restaurant after they were said to have been subjected to a "bad attitude" from a member of staff.
Taking to the travel website, the customer detailed how they were treated with "terrible service", which is what they titled their review, after they tried to move to a booth.
The local eatery Amarone, in the Capital Building 13 on St Andrew Square, is currently ranked as number 454 out of 1,778 restaurants in the capital.

In the one star TripAdvisor review uploaded a week ago, the customer wrote: "Let me just start with TERRIBLE SERVICE!! My husband and I walked in with a reservation at 8:30. We were met with a host who was extremely unfriendly and took us to a table in the corner.
"We asked to be moved to a booth in the front and he proceeded to tell us that they were for parties of four only. However, we walked to the front and several booths were parties of two and the one available both had place settings for two only.
"He proceeded to tell us we either have to sit in the corner or at the bar. He was completely unaccommodating and unapologetic for the horrible seating location. So unfortunately we decided to walk out the door. If it starts out that bad, there’s no point in staying.

"So disappointed! We eat out all the time and are traveling at this time and we’re completely blown away by his bad attitude. I hope the manager takes notice."
In response, the team at Amarone replied: "I’m sorry to hear about your disappointment with us, and I would like to personally assist you with making things right" detailing their contact information for them to get in touch.
