A woman was disgusted to find a middle-aged woman had walked into her garden and used it as a toilet before a Beyoncé gig in Scotland at the weekend.
The reveller was caught doing the toilet in the garden near to Edinburgh's Murrayfield on Saturday night, before the former Destiny's Child singer took to the stage. And, despite the huge excitement regarding the sell-out show, nearby residents took to social media to voice their shock and disgust at fans shamelessly using their gardens to relieve themselves.
One woman whose house is walking distance from the ground went out to confront a middle-aged woman who sauntered into her garden and began doing the toilet next to a window. She told Edinburgh Live she was then shouted at by the lout, who didn't apologise for her disgusting actions, forcing the owner to "barricade" her front gate to stop anyone else entering the garden.
She said: "It must have been around 6.30pm. I closed my gate as that sort of thing is known to happen in the area and when I looked out my living room window that lady was there.
"I thought 'are you joking?' I went round to the front door and asked 'sorry what are you doing?'
"She didn't even apologise and just ignored us. I said can you get out the garden but she just stood and kept peeing. I was actually disgusted.
"I said to her there are bars, shops and restaurants all nearby that she could have gone to and she just started giving us abuse and shouting at us. You would wait in a queue for toilets at any sort of event or festival so why not do it here?"
She continued: "It is scary at the end of the day, just having someone let themselves into your garden. Imagine it was an old person or someone who is vulnerable.
"I actually heard a noise after the concert and lots of shouting. We looked out of the window and there was a guy standing right opposite my window shouting to neighbours upstairs.
"What happened was two girls were peeing in the main doorway to the flat beside me and the neighbour upstairs had obviously caught them and shouted down to tell them not to do it and the guys outside were trying to get him out for a fight.
"The woman in our garden did appear to be drunk but looked like she was in her late 50s so you would think she knows better."
