When it comes to Edinburgh property, some of the most highly sought after areas in the capital rarely have houses available.
A new report from Purplebricks has gathered information on some of the quickest properties within Edinburgh and the Lothians to sell from January 2022.

Whilst some have sold within two weeks, others merely took a few days find their buyer.
The results show that properties in West Lothian have been sold quickly since January 2022, as well as several near the city centre and the outskirts of town.
Albyn Drive, Livingston
The first property on the list is a beautiful five-bedroom, detached house on Albyn Drive, Livingston, EH54.
This property emerged on the market on January 24, 2022 and sold within three days, as the price for this home was £515,000.
The home is very well presented and includes a huge office room and a sliding door that separates the kitchen from the garden which would be perfect for summer nights.
Following the theme of homes in West Lothian selling fast, it's no wonder this property did not last long on the market and is in a popular area of Livingston.

This property was on the market for as little as £129,995 on January 20, which would definitely have been one of the main factors involved in it being sold after ten days.

This home was snapped up in just seven days, after going on the market on January 18, with the buyer being instantly won over by spacious living areas and tranquil location.
The property has a newly fitted kitchen as well as a private driveway and double garage.

As the home was available for as little as £230,000, it's easy to see why it took such a small period to be sold.
The property includes three spacious bedrooms as well as an attractive and modern furnished kitchen and a long private garden.
The area is perfect for those commuting for work into central Edinburgh, whilst also not being too far away from the attractive night life.

The final showcased property on the list is very central, situated on Haig Lane, EH6.

The modern and attractive flat was available for just £230,000, a snip compared to recent price hikes within the city centre.
With top floor views, gas central heating, resident parking and two bathrooms, it's easy to see why this did not last long before being subjected to an offer.
As well as only being two years old, it includes a spectacular Juliet balcony.
