Police swooped on an Edinburgh street on Thursday morning after reports of 'concern for a person'.
They were alerted to the incident on Barn Park Crescent in Wester Hailes just after 9am, with a police presence seen on the street throughout much of the day and into the evening. Officers left the scene at around 8pm, after the arrest of a 41-year-old man.
Local residents saw police tape blocking off the street, with several police cars and a van in attendance.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.20am on Thursday, 11 May, 2023, we received a report of concern for a person at a property on Barn Park Crescent, Edinburgh.
"Officers attended and a 41-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident. Enquiries are ongoing."
