Police in Edinburgh have swooped on a busy west end street as alarmed residents stood around and watched.
The incident took place on Wednesday, April 10 around lunchtime and saw a number of officers wearing gloves gathered around a vehicle that allegedly had a person in the back shouting.
It is unclear if the incident is related to an address on the street and what the full nature of the police attendance was.

Police Scotland have not confirmed if there is any wider threat to the public.
One passer-by, 47, said: "The police van was stopped outside a row of businesses. It had its blue lights on and the doors were open at the back.
"There were four or five officers stood around with gloves on."
They added: "They were talking to a man and you could hear some shouting that sounded like it was coming from inside the van so I don't know if they'd arrested someone.
"It was lunchtime in the middle of the west end so the street was busy with office workers on their break. Everyone was just watching what was going on. It's not what you expect in such a reputable street."
