Police in Edinburgh have shared an appeal for a missing teenage girl who could be in the city after disappearing from Glenrothes two days ago.
14-year-old Emma Goddard, who also goes by the name of Aster, was last sighted at an address in Waverley Drive, Glenrothes, at 10pm on the evening of Saturday, July 16.
Officers in Fife believe the teenager could be in Edinburgh as she has links to the capital, with Edinburgh police sharing the appeal and asking those in the city to report any possible sighting.

Emma is described as 5ft 4ins tall, of medium build, with short brown hair in a pixie cut with red through it.
When she was last seen, it is possible that she was wearing a red Joker T-shirt, a black hooded top and black shorts. Aster also has links to the Irvine area and may have travelled there by bus and train.
Anyone who may have seen Aster since this time, or who has any information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 4177 of 16 July.
Edinburgh police added: "We are appealing for your help as part of efforts to trace Emma/Aster who is believed to be in the #Edinburgh area."
