Police descended onto a public square in Edinburgh’s city centre on Sunday after reports of a fight between two men.
The incident is understood to have taken place on Sunday July 3 at around 5:00pm but police say that the two alleged culprits were nowhere to be seen by the time they arrived.
In a video shared on Snapchat, at least four officers can be seen walking around Nicolson Square Gardens in the Southside area of the capital.

It is believed that officers had been called to the scene after there were reports of a fight that was breaking out between two males.
The area is popular with students and residents as it has several eateries surrounding the small grass park that is situated in the heart of Nicolson Square Gardens.
It is understood that Police Scotland found no criminality after speaking to people within the public Square and that the two males had left the scene after the altercation had taken place.
