A concerned resident had reported seeing police descend on a Southside street in a concerning incident that saw two people fall from a window.
Several police vehicles, officers and a van from the Scottish Ambulance Service were spotted on Davies Street in the capital.
The incident is understood to have taken place at a property in the Simon Square area of Edinburgh on Friday, February 24 at 4.20pm.
Police say they were notified of a disturbance but that on further investigation by officers, they found that two individuals had fallen from a window.

The two people were understood to have been treated for minor injuries and police say that after enquiries were carried out no criminality was found to have taken place.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.20pm on Friday, February 24, police were called to a property in the Simon Square area of Edinburgh, following a report of a disturbance.
“Officers attended and two individuals were treated for minor injuries after having fallen from a window. Enquiries were undertaken and no criminality was identified.”
