Edinburgh police have issued an appeal to the public for any information as they attempt to trace a missing man.
Aloaye Prosper Eshilama was last seen on the morning of Wednesday, June 15, at his address in Wester Hailes. The 20-year-old has not been seen since and the police are growing increasingly concerned for his well being as they have been unable to contact him.
Aloaye is described as a black male with short black afro style hair and a black beard. He is described as being around 5 foot 7, of a slim build and may be wearing stud earrings.

He is also known to have connections to the Aberdeen area.
Edinburgh police are urging anyone who has seen Aloaye or who has information of his whereabouts to contact the police and quote incident number 1289 of June 22.
A police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace a man reported missing in Edinburgh.
“Aloaye Prosper Eshilama was last seen at an address in the Wester Hailes area around 8am on Wednesday 15th June 2022.
“The 20 year old has not been seen since and there are growing concerns for his welfare as we are unable to make contact with him.
“Aloaye is described as a black male with short black afro style hair and a short black beard, around 5’7 tall, slim build. He may be wearing stud earrings in both ears.
“He is known to have links to the Aberdeen area.
“Anyone who may have seen Aloaye Prosper Eshilama since this time, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 1289 of 22nd June 2022.”
