Edinburgh police officers recovered a motorcycle that had been abandoned in the middle of one of the city's busiest streets on Thursday morning.
Officers were pictured surrounding the blue motorbike that has been dumped next to the former Jenners store on Princes Street around 8am on Thursday, July 28.
Police Scotland confirmed that they recovered the bike earlier that morning, around 6am and enquiries are ongoing to establish if the bike is stolen.

One witness said: "The absolutely brazenness of it. I know motorbike thefts are common but to leave it on Edinburgh's most famous street - the cheek!"
A Police Scotland said : "Officers recovered a motorcycle which was found on Princes Street, Edinburgh at around 6.20am on Thursday, 28 July, 2022. Enquiries are ongoing."
Police in Edinburgh recently started a new operation dedicated to tackling an increase in motorcycle crimes across the capital, saying as of last week, there had been nine arrests made in a four week period.
This translates for 57 charges all relating to motorcycle theft and antisocial behaviour offences and the recovery of 36 motorcycles, with a value of £145,000.
On July 16, they commented: "Over the past week, enquiries have led to the arrest of three men with significant links to motorcycle crime across Edinburgh, with a further two men reported for warrant. Eight bikes have also been successfully recovered as a direct result of our focused activities."
