Stationed in three different locations throughout the course of the day, police were focussed on "road safety and vehicle enabled crimes."
During their patrols, two vehicles checked were found to have no valid insurance, with one vehicle completely seized by officers.
Six drivers were pulled over for a lack of road tax, while three more were also reported to have expired MOTs while continuing to drive on public roads.
A further two drivers were also seen to be using their mobile phones while operating the vehicle.
