Road policing officers in Edinburgh arrested a motorcyclist after allegedly testing positive for drink driving after being pulled over.
Officers said that they decided to stop the rider after becoming suspicious with the manner of their driving down a city road.
Road Policing Scotland shared some of the details of the arrest in the early hours of Tuesday, February 28.

They say that they found that the rider had allegedly been drinking and provided a positive roadside breath sample. Police added that the rider was arrested and was taken into custody so that they could carry out a urine test for analysis.
A statement on Road Policing Scotland Twitter said: “#EdinburghRP stopped this motorcycle tonight for a chat due to their riding manner. Turns out the rider had been drinking and provided a positive breath sample.
“Rider was arrested, taken into custody, where urine was obtained for analysis.”
