Edinburgh Police appeal for information as 14-year-old teen goes missing from Leith

Police officers from Edinburgh have issued an appeal for information on a missing 14-year-old-girl.

Chrystal Chitemere, 14, was last seen in the Leith area of Scotland’s capital at around 09:00am on the morning of Saturday 9 April 2022.

There are concerns for her welfare.

She is described as standing at 5ft 5in and is believed to be of average build with black coloured hair.

In a statement on Facebook, Edinburgh Police Division, said: “We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace a 14-year-girl reported missing in Edinburgh.

“Chrystal Chitemere was last seen in the Leith area of Edinburgh around 9am on Saturday, 9 April, 2022, and there are concerns for her welfare.

“Chrystal is described as about 5ft 5in tall, of average build with black coloured hair.

“Anyone who may have seen Chrystal since this time, or who has any information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2085 of 9 April.”
