An Edinburgh petrol station has been locked down by police after officers raced to the scene on Saturday morning (October 1.)
The Shell garage on Seafield Road in Leith has been entirely cordoned off by the emergency services, with the petrol station currently closed to the public.
Images from the scene showed a number of officers and police vehicles in attendance, with no entry allowed into the shop or petrol pumps.

As well as police vehicles, images taken at around 11.30am showed a smaller white van parked at one of the petrol pumps.
The nature of the incident is currently unknown, with a police presence remaining at the scene for some time.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9am on Saturday, 1 October, police were called to a report of a disturbance outside a flat on Seafield Avenue.
"Officers attended and a 22-year-old man was traced and arrested in connection with the disturbance. Enquiries are continuing into another disturbance that took place on Seafield Road that is linked to this incident.”
