A person has been struck by a train on a line between Edinburgh and the Borders line as emergency services are in attendance.
LNER reported this afternoon, February 28, that a person had been struck on the line between Berwick Upon Tweed and Dunbar, with all services between this line being halted whilst emergency services attend the incident.
Disruption to a number of services has been reported by LNER and CrossCountry trains, with ticket acceptance now in place for various Edinburgh routes.

Due to a lack of diversionary routes, all train services are conveying passengers between Edinburgh and York until further notice.
LNER tweeted: "We're saddened to report a person has been struck by a train between Berwick Upon Tweed and Dunbar. All lines between these stations are blocked awaiting emergency services."
The company also said that LNER tickets can be used on a number of different services, including ScotRail, TransPennine Express and CrossCountry trains.
Such routes include London to Edinburgh, Glasgow to Edinburgh and KingsCross to Edinburgh.
Rail replacement coaches have also been sourced to travel between Newcastle and Edinburgh with uncertainty growing over when the line may be cleared.
Network Rail Scotland also provided an update on Twitter, saying: "We're responding to a report of a person being struck by a train between Dunbar and the border. The emergency services are already on site.
"Check with your operator for updates on your journey."
