Edinburgh has been getting a lot of love recently - earlier this week, we reported on Time Out hailing our home as the best city in the world ahead of New York, Rome, Tokyo ... and everywhere else.
Tourists understandably love flocking to our city for its beauty, its history on all the various things to see and do. We're expecting a huge influx of visitors in the coming weeks with the return of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
And The Times is the latest title to recommend people pop by our wonderful city, with writers listing Edinburgh as one of the best cities in Europe to pay a visit this summer.

Alongside the likes of Berlin, Oslo, Stockholm and Porto, Edinburgh finds itself in the 'go now' list thanks to 'panoramic picnics' and a popular city deli.
Here's what they had to say: "Even if you don’t have Festival tickets, August is Edinburgh’s best moment: abuzz with buskers, and host to the year’s most interesting art shows.
"Right now, they include a big Barbara Hepworth retrospective on at the Modern Two gallery and a survey of impressionism at the Royal Scottish Academy.
"In between these and the odd must-see Fringe show, you’ll have time for a panoramic picnic on Calton Hill, made up of goodies from the city’s grand dame of delis, Valvona & Crolla.
"August rooms are still available at the university’s Scholar hotel, beneath Arthur’s Seat."
