An Edinburgh mum has slammed a "dangerous" driver who tailgated her through Leith in a red Ford Fiesta - and believes the driver was acting aggressively because they mistook her for someone else.
Keely Harper, 35, was taking her son to nursery when she encountered a young female driver who began to behave in an irresponsible manner and closely follow the mum in her car.
The incident took place on Friday, November 11 and left the mum fuming as she had her young son in the car and felt threatened by the careless behaviour.

Keely also explained that had she not been scared for her son's safety during the incident she would have confronted the driver.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live she said: "The only way to explain her behaviour quite honestly was manic and vengeful!
"It was very, very anger-fuelled, shouting nonsensical ramblings and almost as if there was a need to get some kind of pain/hurt off her chest.
"I really felt like this was such an overreaction to a situation that didn't even happen, I'm still unsure what the issue was! it had to have been not only a mistaken identity but as if there was a kind of mental illness to contribute!"
She continued: "It came absolutely out of nowhere! She tailgated me from the moment she pulled out of the Aldi junction and onto Coburg street, where I was travelling towards Salamander street.
"She followed me to the Commercial street road works, where she left my bumper to be greeted by a white van, which she also tailgated and zig-zagged behind."
Finally, she added: "As we got to the lights at the junction to Farmfoods on Seafield Road, she rolled down her window to ramble at me.
"She was on about knowing 'my husband' and 'where I worked' so naturally, I sat and listened as the lights were red.
"I would have explained she had the wrong person if she had taken a breath between sentences! But she raced off up towards the links, and that was it! Very surreal! She did have a male passenger in the seat too, but he looked as dumbfounded as I was."
Sharing her concerns on a local community page, Keely received support from shocked locals. One local said: "She sounds like she's a danger to everyone."
Another exclaimed: "Crazy and dangerous."
While one added: "Sounds intense."

Tailgating is the act of driving too close to the vehicle in front. Some cases can pose a serious danger on the road.
Industry experts have warned of the dangers of tailgating as it is said to increase the risk of collision. A survey conducted by the insurance comparison site, Confused.com, revealed that 17 per cent of drivers have experienced damage to their car as a result of tailgaters.
Not only is tailgating dangerous, but it is considered a careless driving offence making it illegal. Tailgaters could be fined up to £100 and three points on your licence, if you're caught by the police.
