An Edinburgh mum has hit out at Morrisons supermarket after she bought two packs of chicken which she later found to be underweight.
Susan, 41, from Granton, had headed down to her local supermarket to grab the weekly shop which included a pack of sliced chicken as well as chicken breasts.
The food weighing the same amount as it says on the pack is important for Susan as she relies on accurate weights for her own diet.

As well as her own dietary needs, her son is also a successful boxer who weighs every meal precisely to fit in with his training regime.
So she was horrified to open a £1/£1.50 200g pack of savers chicken slices only to discover that the cold meat inside weighed only 92g - less than half of the advertised weight.
To make matters worse, she bought a 1kg pack of chicken fillets in the same shop only to later find out that the contents only measured 884g on the scales.
Speaking of her experience of the Morrisons in Granton at the Waterfront Broadway, Susan said: “Everytime I buy food I have to measure it as I am on a diet and my son is a boxer.
“The other day I bought 1kg of chicken but there was just a small amount missing.
“But then I check the pack for our chicken slices and notice that over 50 per cent of the contents are missing from the packet.
“It is absolutely crazy. I will not be shopping at Morrisons anymore due to this. Usually they say the chicken fillets are 1kg but they normally weigh around 850-900g and I can accept that is minimal. But paying for 200g and getting less than half of that is really annoying.
“I do not know how it works in the UK but surely they have to compensate for this. We live in hard times and it is disgusting. The people need to know that Morrisons in Granton is cheating.
“I would like to get what I pay for with the product and to get this measly pack of chicken means I will never be going back.”
A spokesperson for Morrisons said: “We take complaints such as these seriously and can confirm we're in touch with the customer to investigate this further."
