A man has sadly died after emergency services rush to the Leith area of Edinburgh on Wednesday night.
Police and the ambulance service scrambled to Hamburgh Place following reports of a medical matter at around 9.15pm.
However, However despite the emergency services' best efforts, the 56-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police add that there are no suspicious circumstances.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.15pm on Wednesday, 10 May, 2023, police were called to a medical matter in the Hamburgh Place area of Edinburgh.
“Emergency services attended and a 56-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
