A Marks and Spencer customer in Edinburgh claims she was laughed at by a manager after asking for a refund.
Joyce Warren, was at the Gyle Shopping Centre picking up some groceries and making use of several promotions on offer but was disappointed when she got to the till and none had come through on the receipt.

A shop worker then took Joyce around the shop to confirm the offers were all valid and then refunded her but just as she was leaving the store she realised another offer had been missed and returned to query it.
The 67-year-old was then mortified to see two members of staff talking about her and the previous incident and when she asked for an apology was "laughed at" by the manager.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live Joyce said: "I had bought three separate offers, the red plums were two for £4 but I was charged full price at £2.50 each, a three for £8 offer but I was charged £12.65 and a meal deal for £7 but I charged £9.10.
"The manager was quite blasé about the whole incident, I’m still upset. A lady put the first lot of refunds through, and I had to go with her whilst she checked the labels - who knows why.
"Then we were just about out of the car park and I realised there was another overcharge, went back in and the manager was talking to the same shop assistant - about me as they were both red-faced when they saw me.
"I showed him the plums and asked are you not going to apologise then he laughed at me. So I just handed them back and had them fully refunded, I had just had enough by that stage."

She continued: "The whole experience was awful I felt like a criminal, being dragged back to show exactly what I bought from where it was an interrogation all for £6.75 which is a lot given M&S is not the cheapest at the best of times.
"On the upside, they did send me an e-voucher last night after taking it up with the store.
"They do set the displays up to catch you out for example three for £8 and there are things in the display are are not included in the offer but you can’t tell as some have a label and some don’t.
"It’s like a trap to get more money from you. We’ll be at the Straiton store today so I’ll check the labelling and take photos.
M&S did not respond to allegations that store staff laughed at the customer and were speaking about her when she returned to the store.s
An M&S spokeswoman said: “We take customer service very seriously and we are sorry that this customer was disappointed with her experience. Our Gyle store has reviewed the signage on these offers to make them clearer for our customers.”
