Edinburgh Love Island star Jay slammed as 'fake' after surprising confession

After Thursday night's momentous recoupling, Friday's episode of Love Island dealt with the shocking aftermath.

With Dami and Indiyah, and Andrew and Tasha, all deciding to pick the new girls and boys over each other, there was plenty left to say between all of them. Dami spent the majority of the episode avoiding Indiyah, while Andrew told Tasha he still had feelings for her.

Meanwhile, while Jacques and Paige both decided to stick with each other, the shocking revelation from bombshell Cheyanne that she and Jacques connected while Paige was away resulted in a blow-up between the two. She decided that she "was done" and called him "immature".

One unexpected moment came when Edinburgh lad Jay Younger revealed that he was having second thoughts about Chyna Ellisa — who he coupled up with only the night before. Viewers had been rooting for the new couple, but after Jay's admission, they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One said: "Loool I knew Jay was faking it."

"This is why men are mad because Jay where’s this coming from all of a sudden," questioned a second.

"Ahhhhhhhh f**k off Jay, get this guy out of here," a third angry Love Island fan wrote.

A fourth tweeted: "Nah Jay is a menace. Does this every single time…"

"Jay... I don’t think this show is for you," argued a fifth.

A sixth posted: "I knew Jay wasn’t serious with Chyna".

A seven commented: "JAY?! WE WERE ROOTING FOR YOU."

"Jay you’ve been faking everything from day one," echoed an eighth.
