Edinburgh Love Island star Jay 'is a real one' following recoupling drama

Days of Casa Amor drama came to a head on Thursday night's episode of Love Island.

At the end of Wednesday's episode, host Laura Whitmore paid a visit to the villa to inform the contestants that it was time for the long-awaited re-coupling.

Islanders such as Dami Hope, Jacques O'Neill, and Andrew Le Page had to decide whether to stick with Indiyah Polack, Paige Thorne and Tasha Ghouri or go with new bombshells Summer Botwe, Cheyanne Kerr, or Coco Lodge.

In the end, both Dami and Indiyah, and Andrew and Tasha, decided to recouple in a dramatic reveal, while

Meanwhile, Edinburgh lad Jay left Danica — who he admitted he didn't feel a romantic connection — and coupled up with Chyna Ellis. Danica also recoupled with Josh Samuel Le Grove. With all of the drama in the rest of the episode, viewers were quick to pick up on how "happy" they were for one another.

Taking to Twitter, one said they were "cutiessss".

"Jay looks so happy for Danicaaaa," a second tweeted, while a third agreed: "JAY IS SO HAPPY FOR HER AWW".

Another argued: "Jay deserves more respect man. Very mature and honest."

"Jay is a real one, he actually looks generally happy for Danica," a fifth echoed.

A sixth posted. "Jay looked genuinely happy for Danica".

"Awww Jay actually looks happy for Danica bless," commented a seventh, while an eighth said: "Jays smile for Danica warms my bloody heart".

Meanwhile, an eighth shared: "Danica and jays friendship is so cute".
