Edinburgh Love Island contestant Jay slammed by viewers for 'dead chat'

Love Island returned for another dramatic episode on Monday night, with Casa Amor causing more chaos.

The couples remained broken up, with the women heading to Casa Amor where they've been joined by six new men. Likewise, the boys back at the villa have been getting to know six new female contestants.

The latest episode saw the two villas go head to head in a series of "raunchy" races, with whichever side completing each task faster winning the challenge.

However, one moment that had viewers talking was one involving Edinburgh investment analyst. While speaking to newcomer Chyna, people at home were quick to pick up on how "awkward" their conversation was.

Writing on Twitter, one said: "Ummmm Jay and chyna are being a lil awkward."

"Jay got zero game," said a second.

"Jay + chat = dead," agreed a third, while a fourth commented: "Ugh jays chat is so dead".

Meanwhile, a fifth stated: "Jay always talking/getting excited about fiery side but when he saw Ekin's fiery side he ran."

Another shared: "Chyna was code calling for Jay to lift her and he’s just looking blankly at her looooooool".

"Jay has zero chat ffs get him off my screen," a seventh viewer posted.

An eighth tweeted: "The “fiery side” jay saw was chyna trying to escape the conversation"

A ninth questioned: "Why do I feel awkward watching Jay ’s chat?"
