An Edinburgh lorry has crashed into a bridge on a busy roundabout at Cameron Toll - the third such incident in a year.
The smash is causing traffic to come to standstill in the surrounding areas. Police received reports of the incident at 12.15pm and raced to the scene to find the lorry stuck under the bridge on Old Dalkeith Road.
It is understood that the busy road, which is on the main route to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, will remain closed until police establish what happened. Reportedly no one is injured from the crash.

Lothian Buses confirmed that due to a road closure buses are unable to serve Peffermill Road are instead diverted via Niddrie Mains Road, Greendykes Road and Old Dalkeith Road westbound only until further notice.
The Lothian bus services 33, 24, 38, 49 and 12 have all been diverted due to the ongoing incident. Police Scotland are understood to be at the scene.
Heavy good vehicles have run into difficulties at the bridge previously. Last September, a lorry triggered huge tailbacks and gridlock surrounding Cameron Toll roundabout and shopping centre after it got wedged underneath the bridge.
The road was also closed off last November after a lorry overturned after smashing into the bridge. Those incidents prompted a pledge from the City of Edinburgh Council to introduce safety measures.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a vehicle striking a railway bridge in Cameron Toll, Edinburgh around 12.15pm on Wednesday, 28 September, 2022.
"The road is currently closed and recovery is being arranged."
