Edinburgh locals have been left in stitches over an adorable pooch who was pictured waiting patiently outside his local bakery for a pie on Tuesday lunchtime in Leith.
The sleek black Labrador was snapped sitting eagerly outside the door of Storries a local bakery on Leith Walk at 4:30pm today waiting on his owner.
Followed by a close up shot of the cheeky lab's cute face as he stared into the bright yellow family bread and cake shop.
The iconic baker that has been branded an institution and 'possibly the best bakery in Edinburgh' sells a variety of delicious pies and baked goods.
It was previously open till the early hours of the morning, offering salvage to many Edinburgh revellers in the form of a sausage roll or pie on the way back from a night on the town.

Storries the local Leith bakers with its bright and inviting exterior is known for its mouth watering pies and divine delicacies and is been open on the street for around 50 years.
Abi Lewis who often shares pictures of adorable dugs spotted around the capital told Edinburgh Live,
"I love dug spotting! And love a Storries pie. Oh i hope he got a pie! He was sniffing at the door way, clearly has great taste!
"There's another black dog called Big Ben who sometimes sits in the doorway at Storries But this is a different one!

"It's a really friendly bakery, they do amazing chicken curry pies. And the macaroni pies are soo goood!
"Many a wonderful dug on Leith walk. I often swing by Dalmeny Street park for some pooch spotting.
"There are Loads of fab dog friendly places in Leith too."
