Edinburgh locals have flocked to Holyrood Park on the morning of September 19 to watch the Queen's funeral from 11am on a huge screen.
The Queen sadly passed away peacefully at her Balmoral residence on Thursday September 9. Since then her body has travelled down through Scotland to Edinburgh for memorial events which took place last week.

After laying in state at St Giles' Cathedral for a few days while locals visited and marked their respects she was then flown down to England by the RAF in time for the funeral which takes place today.
At the Edinburgh event locals were pictured mostly wearing black as a sign of respect and sitting on picnic blankets and camping chairs in front of a big screen set up at the walls of Holyrood Palace.
One couple even had their shoes off and looked comfortable sprawled out on a picnic blanket despite the chilly September weather.
The weather is set to be sunny till lunchtime when clouds come in with temperatures hitting about 16C with a chilly wind for the outdoor event.
Edinburgh City Council hosting the event shared on social media with a post that read: "Crowds are beginning to gather in Holyrood Park, where the funeral service for Her Majesty The Queen is being broadcast live on a big screen.
"The service is scheduled to start at 11am and coverage will be shown from 8am until 5pm."
While many thought this was a touching tribute to Her Majesty some critiqued the council for calling the small gathering a crowd as there are not that many people in attendance.
One person said: "“Crowds” is a fair stretch!" while another joked: "You'd find more folk on Porty beach."
Another said: "50 or so people a crowd does not make" and another local joked: "Better get there soon then or else you’ll not get a space."
The funeral service for Her Majesty The Queen will be broadcast live on a big screen in Holyrood Park today. The service is scheduled to start at 11am and coverage will be shown from 8am until 5pm. Entry is free.
