Stellar Omada has employed 50 new tech specialists during the first quarter of this year, as its revenue is almost tripled year-on-year.
The Edinburgh based IT services company also secured a number of new assignments, winning work with UK private bank Hampden & Co, NatWest and Atos.
Stellar recorded revenue of £4.4m during the first quarter of 2022, compared with £1.7m during the same period last year.
The company is still actively recruiting for multiple positions, including business analyst, test analyst, data analyst and developers.
Managing director and founder Colin Frame said it has been more challenging over the last few months to attract talent.
“While there is great tech talent in Scotland, we’re finding that the size of the talent pool is starting to constrain our growth plans, so we’re actively looking at ways we can develop home grown talent.”
At the end of April, Stellar’s headcount numbered 170, only four years on from the company being founded in 2018.
Stellar is set to announce an advisory board to complement its main board, which is chaired by Royston Hoggarth.
