Edinburgh holidaymakers planning on heading to Spain this summer could be hit with delays and cancellations, as pilots consider strike action.
The Spanish Union of Airline Pilots (SEPLA) are weighing up the option of more industrial action in the summer, reports Birmingham Live.
This is due to a dispute with the Spanish Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agency over a specific law and pay rates.

The union is displeased with the "minimum services" law that requires pilots to report to work at a minimum of 90 per cent of scheduled flights - even while engaged in labour action to protest pay rates.
SEPLA were clear in their statements that since the Spanish Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agency were found to have been in violation of the right to a full strike a total of 15 times, that they will be seeking "precautionary measures".
Secretary General of SEPLA, Javier Fernández said in a news conference that striking could be on the table.
SEPLA represents pilots working for budget airlines easyJet and Ryanair, as well as Jet2, Evelop, Plus Ultra, Eurowings, Swiftair and Norwegian.

According to the Majorca Daily Bulletin, other members of staff such as flight attendants, air traffic controllers and potentially ground transportation could join in on the strikes to pressure the airlines, and the Spanish Government.
However, SEPLA Secretary-General Javier Fernández-Picazo added: “It is a decision that has to be evaluated and negotiated.”
Meanwhile, Air Europa strike activity will continue. According to a May 8 SEPLA statement, SEPLA is calling to expand strike activity to May 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, and 30, plus June 1 and 2 at all Spanish bases and work centers of Air Europa.
