A chic new patisserie has just landed in the capital, offering a delicious selection of macarons and giving guests the chance to enjoy the "ultimate Parisian experience".
Sisters Suzanne Horne and Jenny Bromley, who are behind the Paris-inspired firm Almondine, have already had huge success with their patisseries in Aberdeen and Inverurie and are now partnering with Harvey Nichols to bring their delicious wares to Edinburgh.
Launching on the fourth floor of the luxury department store, the pair revealed they are now offering their signature patisseries, macarons, blossoming teas, premium hot chocolates and champagnes at their new Patisserie Bar.
Posting on Facebook, they wrote: "Almondine are delighted to be opening the Patisserie Bar on the 4th floor where you can enjoy our blossoming teas, the most wonderful signature hot chocolate, a glass of fizz and of course indulge in the very best Pâtisserie and Macarons Scotland has to offer!

"This will be the perfect place to meet with friends, enjoy a celebration, or have something delicious to be boxed up to enjoy at home."
The pair have been making their delicious creations for just over a decade, and having perfected their macaron recipe, have opened outlets in Chapel Street in Aberdeen in 2020 and another cafe in Inverurie’s Burn Lane in 2021.
