This week thousands of people are descending on the capital to take part - or watch - the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
There's a lot to look forward to this year and many great people you won't want to miss from internationally renowned author, Ian Rankin as well as multi-award winning comedians.
As well as making sure you don't miss your favourite Fringe acts, there's also incredible food you will need to try, such as Khushi's beautifully designed Jingle Bus which serves delicious Indian street food at a pocket friendly price. Meanwhile, one popular TikToker took to the video sharing platform as he arrived in the city for the festival - and shared that he's already causing chaos.
Taking to TikTok, George Clarke - also known as @georgeclarkeey on the app - took viewers on a tour of his hotel room after revealing he had asked the staff to hide an unknown fruit in his room.
Announcing that he had just arrived at his hotel in Edinburgh, he accidentally pronounced the capital wrong, joking that he had "offended a culture in the first three seconds" of his video.
George continued: "It's a rather boujee establishment so naturally I asked if they could hide a piece of fruit in my room."
Searching for the mystery fruit high and low 'before it became mouldy', he looked in obscure places such as in a safe, in a dressing gown as well as in the kettle - however, he couldn't find it.
After eventually finding it hidden in between the towels, he proudly held up his apricot.
And it seems people were keen to follow him on the fruit finding journey with just shy of two million views, 500k likes and over two thousand comments.
In response to his video one said: “I don’t know my fruits me neither it’s fine."
Another added: "About half way through I started doubting if they even hid some fruit."
"Bruhhh I literally got home from Edinburgh a day ago and you’re there NOW" wrote a third with many others seemingly upset he was in the capital and that they weren't able to see him.
