The Scottish comedy legend will be at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer doing three weeks of stand up comedy shows.
The funnyman's show will take place at the Assembly Music Rooms between August 3 - 28 at 6:.15pm at the arts festival's 75th anniversary.
Announcing the news on Twitter he advised fans to snap up tickets fast and recommended them to purchase half price preview tickets that are sure to sell out quickly.

He said: "I’m doing a show at the Edinburgh Fringe called Lap of Shame.
"Playing loads of nights, but if you want the half price preview shows, I’d maybe get on that soonish."

The festival describe the performance as: "A show largely about politics, satirising whichever new leaders emerge from the irradiated rubble.
"The show will then embark on a tour of Re-education Camps, Robot Barracks, and Colosseums built from old shipping containers."
Boyle’s last major run of Fringe shows was in a 1,200-capacity room at the EICC, while the Music Hall has a capacity of around 670.
