Edinburgh-based clothing brand Fallain Fitness has been selected to showcase its sportswear range at John Lewis.
The week-long pop-up shop - starting today - is located within the menswear department at the St James Quarter store.
It will run until 18 September in partnership with the ‘Great British Pop-up’, an initiative designed to promote new, local and unique businesses.
Fallain means healthy in Gaelic and is the brainchild of Philip Tod and sister Andrea. The brand launched in 2021 looking to muscle in on the booming sportswear market.
Philip said: “To date, the majority of our sales are through our own website and also Amazon - where our t-shirts are among the best sellers in the UK, but being in John Lewis is going to take our brand to a whole new audience.
“We will be staffing the shop ourselves - on hand to answer any questions.”
Andrea added: “Launching a new business during the pandemic was challenging, but we are both driven by our passion for fitness and fashion.
“We wanted to come up with a brand that stood out and looked as good in the gym as it does in the street and the feedback has been great.
“Taking Fallain Fitness into John Lewis is like a dream come true and we can’t wait to showcase our range of clothing.”
