A road in the Duddingston area of Edinburgh was closed on Wednesday afternoon after a car burst into flames.
One fire engine was called out from the Liberton station after receiving a call at 11.48am on Tuesday December 14.
Old Church Road was closed off as emergency services attended the scene by moments later to tackle the blaze.
The fire was extinguished by 12.15pm and firefighters continued dampening down the vehicle before they left the scene just before 1pm. Police Scotland were also in attendance.
Scottish Fire and Rescue confirmed that one car was alight and the fire engine attended with a host and a breathing apparatus. There were no reports of injury and no record of how it started.
