The Edinburgh Festival Fringe and TikTok are joining forces to take the month-long event global.
It has been announced that TikTok will become official virtual stage for the Festival, bringing the vibrant and creative communities to the palm of people's hands - anywhere in the world.
Digital performances are not a new concept to the festival, as the pandemic forced artists and performers to think differently about how they were going to share their work.

And now TikTok will live stream performances from Edinburgh venues for everyone to get a taste of the iconic festival, no matter where they are.
An Edinburgh Festival Fringe Hub will also host all the latest #EdFringe content in one place for the TikTok community to discover.
Meanwhile, two digital screens on the Royal Mile will showcase TikTok content from the app's community of creators, offering a platform for emerging comedy, music and theatre talent on the app, while also helping festival goers to discover new artists.
TikTok will also be co-host to the Official Taster Stages with the Fringe, with an installation on the Mound Precinct for festival goers, performers and the Edinburgh community alike to experience.
TikTok creators will also be performing in Edinburgh, on stage for a live audience, as well as brining the event life for millions of followers using the official hashtag #EdFringe.
The app will also be offering a programme of workshops and performer education for Fringe artists and performers, so they can continue to make the most of everything it has to offer.
