Edinburgh emergency services have rushed to a collision between a car and a cyclist in the west of the capital.
Police and the Scottish Ambulance Service sped to the Rannoch Road area on Friday evening after a car collided with what is believed to be a young cyclist.
An eye witness at the scene saw a police van parked at the side of the road while officers were speaking to locals who saw the incident. The cyclist was reportedly 'shaken'.

They added: "I turned the corner and saw the police van park up onto the kerb.
"I didn’t see what was happening but there was a lot of commotion and a cyclist on a road bike looked as though he was getting some medical attention from a woman in an NHS hospital uniform.
"One female officer was interviewing a man on the opposite side of the road from the cyclist and a male officer had ran down to the library. A couple of minutes later an ambulance came down to the scene.
"The cyclist looked as though he was standing up but he looked a bit shaken."
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed they were called to a report of a collision between a car and cyclist on Rannoch Road around 5.20pm on Friday, June 2, with the cyclist being checked over by the ambulance service.
