An Edinburgh teenager has died following an emergency incident at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh on Wednesday evening.
Emergency services, including paramedics and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the Salisbury Crags area of the park shortly after 5pm following a concern for a person report.
Officers confirmed that a 14-year-old male youth was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

They added that there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Concerned on-lookers reported a huge emergency service presence at the bottom of Queen's Drive throughout the evening with several ambulances and a height appliance from the fire service also present.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5pm on Wednesday, 8 February, police were called to a concern for person incident at Salisbury Crags. Police and Ambulance attended however a 14-year-old male youth was pronounced dead.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
