Edinburgh easyJet flight delayed after women passengers get into a row onboard

Easyjet passengers watched on in disbelief as women passengers got into a row in the cabin.

The service from the capital to Turkey was delayed for 30 minutes with the four females reportedly removed as the plane was met by police. The shocking incident took place on flight EZY6946 to Bodrum on Wednesday, August 31.

A source told the Record the "female passengers" on board were taken off for "behaviour troubles". EasyJet bosses confirmed the women were removed and praised their professional crew for dealing with them.

A spokesperson for easyJet said: "We can confirm that flight EZY6946 from Edinburgh to Bodrum on August 31 was met by police on arrival as a result of four passengers onboard behaving disruptively.

"EasyJet's cabin crew are trained to assess and evaluate all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time.

"Whilst such incidents are rare, we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour towards our staff. The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew is always our highest priority."
