Edinburgh drivers told Leith Walk will partially close just days after opening

Leith Walk is set to close northbound to traffic just days after opening up both lanes.

The stretch of road down Leith has been under a huge redevelopment as tram lines and new cycle paths have been put in place. After three years of disruption the roads reopened on February 14, to the delight of locals and business owners in the area.

However, Leith Walk will be closed from 7pm on Thursday, February 16 until Friday morning as rail grinding works are taking place.
