Edinburgh distillery to host huge three-day beer and whisky festival next year

An Edinburgh distillery have confirmed they will be hosting a three-day whisky and beer bonanza next year as the 'Mash Up' festival returns to the capital.

Launched in summer of this year, the event had gone down a storm with locals, with over 600 people attending the tastings, talks and stalls.

Now, organisers have announced the festival will return on June 2-4 2023, with whisky fanatics to descend on the Holyrood Distillery for the weekend.

Holly Aynsley, Bars and Events Manager for Holyrood Distillery said: “Last year it was a privilege to welcome some of the most innovative brewers and distillers to take over our distillery and we were delighted with the response to the event. 2023’s event will be even bigger and better and will be a real demonstration of the cutting edge flavours and techniques in today’s world of brewing and distilling.

“Tickets allow entry to the Distillery for two and half hours as well as the opportunity to sample from all of the exhibitors. Further drinks can be purchased directly from the stands or at the Distillery Bar. This relaxed vibe allows guests to discover their new favourite beer or whisky at their leisure.”

Tickets are available starting at £40, available to book here.
